About 138 East St. Sault Ste Marie
138 East St was a vacant and empty building in really bad shape in Sault Ste Marie. I bought the building and gutted it. I had engineers come in design the building and we constructed 23 brand new units for Sault Ste Marie.
We purchased the property as a vacant and run down building. We gutted it and had the engineers design the full building to create 23 brand new apartments for the community at affordable prices. It had brand new kitchens and washrooms and new floors and walls and was reborn.

Property History
It used to be nice, but Sault Ste Marie is a shitty city when it comes to homelessness and crime. Break ins are way too high as is vandalism and squatters. The Police have their hands tied more than other regions it appears or they are short staffed and crime runs rampant.
It caused damage to the 138 East st building. The city had vacated the 645 Queen St East building and forced us to get a conformity of use which we did. But while we were starting some renovations, squatters moved in at night and lit the building on fire and that building is now demolished and gone.
On the site of 645 Queen St East, Sault Ste Marie, we will be constructing a brand new 3 or 4 story ICF building that will be 100 accessible, one of the most energy efficient buildings around and affordable housing.
Out of the ashes rises a building for the future.
